Mat-Su is located just right to make day trips to Denali National Park, or Anchorage, and there is Talkeetna with Hatchers Pass close enough for you to discovered the great hidden secret of the whole valley by visiting this historical mining town at the top of the top of the pass overlooking the whole valley. Trapper Creek or Wasilla is within a short trip away for anything you may want to do or see. Or just take a few days to relax and enjoy the fishing that is all around you.
